Goals

  1. To facilitate communication between EPPCs, especially regarding issues and policies of national importance on exotic pest plants that threaten natural areas and wildlands;
  2. To communicate and represent the interests of EPPCs on issues and policies of national importance regarding invasive exotic pest plants that threaten natural areas and wildlands;
  3. To support the formation and growth of EPPCs, and to provide a forum for all EPPCs to share in and benefit from the information generated by each EPPC and this association;
  4. To provide support for the implementation of national invasive species initiatives and other activities of national importance.

37th Annual Natural Areas Conference - The National Association of Exotic Pest Plant Councils and the Midwest Invasive Plant Network is teaming with the Natural Areas Association (NAA) to address invasive species issues at the 37th Annual Natural Areas Conference. The conference will be held October 26-29, 2010 at Tan Tar A Resort in Osage Beach, Missouri. If you would like to present some aspect of your invasive species work, the deadline for abstract submission is June 15, 2010.
